Raspberry Butterfly Necklace with Amethyst
The tiniest Butterfly necklace! I started this design by hand shaping a metal butterfly. Next I combined a gorgeous paper butterfly specimen, two coats of jewelry grade resin, and a whole lot of love! The petite little butterfly hangs about 1-1/2 inch from the necklace chain, and is about 1 inch wide. A faceted dark purple Amethyst hangs below the raspberry colored butterfly to pull all its purple hues to the forefront. I use natural Amethyst with no treatments whatsoever.
Due to the creation process the butterfly may contain tiny air bubbles or variations. It’s just a part of its beautiful uniqueness!

In many Native American cultures, the butterfly is considered to be a symbol of transformation and change. The metamorphosis of the butterfly, from caterpillar to pupa to adult, is seen as a metaphor for the process of personal transformation and growth. The butterfly is also associated with the soul, as it is believed to represent the journey of the soul from this world to the next.
